I see trees of green, red roses too

The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky

इंद्रधनुष के रंग, आसमां में इतने प्यारे

Are also on the faces of people going by

गुज़रते लोगों के चेहरों पर भी नज़र आते

I see friends shaking hands, saying, "How do you do?"

दोस्तों को हाथ मिलाते देखूँ, कहते "कैसे हो तुम?"

They're really sayin', "I love you"

वो सचमुच कहते हैं "मैं प्यार करता हूँ तुमसे"

I hear babies cry, I watch them grow

मैं बच्चों को रोते सुनूँ, उन्हें बढ़ते देखूँ

They'll learn much more than I'll never know

वो सीखेंगे उससे कहीं ज़्यादा जो मैं कभी न जानूँ
